What is an EmSAT Test?

EmSAT (Emirates Standardized Test) is a computer-based entrance test for University or college admissions in United Arab Emirates. The purpose of EmSAT test is to assess the students’ skills and knowledge in the area of interest for higher studies in targeted subjects.

These online tests, focusses on basics and fundamental concepts which students’ already studied in their school curriculum and measures the knowledge and skills of grade 12 students in different subjects and  also specifies students’ performance level nationally and internationally. The good thing about EmSAT Achieve test is that, they do not have a pass or fail mark as test assesses students’ concepts and skills in different subjects, instead some universities may require minimum score for admission purpose.

1. Decide which subjects to take

As per the Ministry Of Education (MOE), EmSAT AchieveEnglish, EmSAT Achieve Arabic, EmSAT Achieve Math, and EmSAT Achieve Physics are the mandatory subjects which every students’ who are studying MOE curriculum needs to take the test to issue grade 12 certificate. English is the first subject that everybody needs to take, after that you can decide which subject/s tests,you would like appear based on your area of interest.

2. Analyze in detail about the subjects you choose

Before starting preparation, it is important to understand about the subjects by refereeing to the contents, sample questions, Appendix/Data sheets etc., which is provided in test specification for each subject.   Once the analysis is done, you can collect necessary notes, text books, printouts etc., from your previous years of studies, as EmSAT Achieve test is focusing on basics and fundamentals required to enter university/college. 3. Start preparing for the test at least 1-2 months prior to the exam

Many students make common mistakes that, they start preparing for the test one or two weeks prior to the exams.
