Advance Placement (AP) is an entrance test conducted by College Board for students aiming to pursue their higher education in the United States, Canada, and other International Educational Institutes. The test offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students which test their ability to perform at the college level.
AP courses are rigorous and are designed to prepare students for the demands of college-level coursework. AP exams are usually taken in first and second week of May every year and students receive a score on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest and 1 being the least. Many colleges and universities grant credit scores of 3 or higher on AP exams, although the specific policies can vary from institution to institution.
Taking AP courses can be a great way for high school students to get a head start on their college education. It can also help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and beyond.
All AP exams consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) along with a Free Response section in either Essay or Problem-solving format.
Proper Choice Training Institute offers one-on-one training for the following subjects:
- AP Calculus AB
- AP Calculus BC
- AP Physics 1
- AP Physics 2
- AP Physics C
- AP Chemistry
- AP Biology
AP Calculus AB Test Preparation
AP Calculus AB is a college-level calculus course that is offered as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program. The course covers the material typically covered in a first-semester college calculus course.
AP Calculus AB focuses on the concepts and techniques of differential and integral calculus. It covers topics such as limits, derivatives, integrals including applications of calculus to real-world problems, optimization, related rates, and modelling with differential equations.
To be successful in AP Calculus AB, students should have a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. They should also be comfortable with solving equations and graphing functions. The course requires a high level of mathematical rigor and problem-solving skills, and students are expected to be able to work independently and think critically.
Many colleges and universities grant credit scores of 3 or higher on the exam
Course plan – 30 Hours
The course begins with a diagnostic test that evaluates student’s strengths and weaknesses; thereby allowing our trainers to help students overcome their weak spots and get them to optimal scores.
- 20 Hours Training (10 sessions, 2 hours each) focusing on the syllabus provided by the College Board
- Practice Tests and Reviews (10 hours) that helps student to understand test structure and develops time management skills
- Fully customized study plan
- Private one to one class to provide personal attention to individual student
- Course duration – Flexible, as per the convenient of student
- Days and Timings – Flexible, as per the convenient of students
AP Calculus BC Test Preparation
AP Calculus BC is a college-level calculus course that is offered as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program. It is a more advanced course than AP Calculus AB and covers the material typically covered in a full-year college calculus course.
AP Calculus BC builds on the concepts and techniques covered in AP Calculus AB and includes additional topics such as series, parametric equations, and polar coordinates. It also includes a greater emphasis on applications of calculus to real-world problems and the use of technology for problem-solving.
To be successful in AP Calculus BC, students should have a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. They should also be comfortable with solving equations and graphing functions. The course requires a high level of mathematical rigor and problem-solving skills, and students are expected to be able to work independently and think critically.

AP Physics Test Preparation
AP Physics is a college-level physics course that is offered as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program. There are three versions of the course: AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2 and AP Physics C.
AP Physics 1 covers the material typically covered in a first-semester college physics course such as foundational principles of physics as you explore Kinematics, Newtons Law, work, energy, and power, mechanical waves and sound; and introductory to simple Electric circuits.
AP Physics 2 covers the material typically covered in a second-semester college physics course such as fluids Mechanics, thermodynamics, electric force, field, and potential; electric circuits; magnetism and electromagnetic induction; geometric and physical optics; and quantum, atomic, and nuclear physics.
Course plan – 30 Hours (Each)
The course begins with a diagnostic test that evaluates student’s strengths and weaknesses; thereby allowing our trainers to help students overcome their weak spots and get them to optimal scores.
- 16 Hours of Training (8 sessions, 2 hours each) focusing on the syllabus provided by the College Board
- Practice Tests and Reviews (14 hours) that helps student to understand test structure and develops time management skills
- Fully customized study plan
- Private one to one class to provide personal attention to individual student
- Course duration – Flexible, as per the convenient of student
- Days and Timings – Flexible, as per the convenient of students
AP Physics C is further divided into two parts, AP physics C Mechanics and AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism. Students who opt for AP Physics C can take both Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism or any one of it as each section of AP Physics C exam is conducted separately and graded score separately in the range of 1 to 5.
AP Physics C Mechanics covers topics such as kinematics; Newton’s laws of motion, work, energy, and power; systems of particles and linear momentum; rotation; oscillations; and gravitation.
AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism electrostatics, conductors, capacitors and dielectrics, electric circuits, magnetic fields, and electromagnetism.
To be successful in AP Physics, students should have a strong foundation in algebra, geometry. The course requires a high level of mathematical rigor and problem-solving skills, and students are expected to be able to work independently and think critically.
